Tool and Die Heat Treatment

 

Q-Heat fluidised beds allow tools and dies to be individually heat treated to optimise performance.  For tools and dies the cost of heat treatment represents only 5% of the total cost of the tool or die.  It is of paramount importance that tool steels or components should receive good and careful heat treatment.  The performance of three similar die-casting dies is illustrated graphically below..
