GCD's OGH air heater will burn heavy and light fuel oils and high CV gases separately or in combination. High combustion intensity and complete, stable combustion are achieved using minimal energy combined with the "staged air" principle. Low stack solids and low CO are essential features of this air heater. Turn down of heat input up to 10:1 is available across the range of fuels fired.
In the air heater application, the OGH-burner fires into a refactory lined fire-tube in which the combustion reaction is completed. Dilution air or recycled gases are introduced into the annular space surrounding the fire-tube and mixed with the products of combustion in the mixing cone. This arrangement ensures that refractory and metal surfaces are maintained at modest temperatures and external heat loss is minimised.
