GCD International Pty Ltd occupies a large modern manufacturing and office establishment in Knoxfield, an Eastern suburb of Melbourne.
The total floor space measures approximately 4,500 M2.
The manufacturing set-up was purpose-built to serve the company's needs as a major thermal plant producer.
The capacity of the manufacturing facility is best demonstrated by the regular completion of production plant modules, specifically designed and constructed in the largest transportable section. The largest module recently exported was a curing oven and conveyor assembly measuring approximately 23 metres long, 4 metres high and 3.5 metres wide. It weighed in excess of 60 tonnes.
The company operates a dedicated engineering office and drawing office with seven Autocad 14/2002 stations. As indicated above, our design and project engineering workforce is a significant element of our operation. Each engineering discipline has its own department head:
Chief Electrical Engineer.
Chief Combustion Engineer.
Projects Manager.
Technical Manager.
Chief Draftsman.
