Samples of Bauxite are often digested in closed digester cylinders, commonly referred to as “bombs”. During the digestion process the “bombs” must be continuously rotated while maintained at a preset temperature. The photograph shows a GCD designed and built bomb heater, for the simultaneous heating of four bombs.
